Details of the Standard Bank Learnership
A variety of learnerships that provide fixed-term employment for 12 to 24 months are available for selection. In addition to a monthly stipend, you’ll receive priceless coaching and mentoring as you pursue your certification.
- 12-, 18-, or 24-month fixed-term employment with the bank (depending on the program).
- Monthly stipend
- Grade 12
- Practical meaningful workplace experience
- Coaching.
Application criteria
If you have completed a Grade 12 (matriculation) or a 3-year post-grade 12 (matriculation) qualification (role dependent), you are eligible to apply for a Standard Bank Group Learnership.
- Be computer literate
- Not be permanently employed
- Not be studying at another tertiary institution
- Not be registered for any other learnerships
- Be a South African citizen
- Be between the ages of 18 and 30
- Be able to speak, read and write English
